Updated Pricelists, Dealer Discounts, and Shipping Cost Policy - October 2024 - TECHART
Dear TECHART Dealers and Resellers,
It has been a busy year with many changes within TECHART, and there are many
more changes to come.
However, one aspect, which had not yet received the same treatment, has been
the communication with our valued dealers such as yourself, but, is one of our
top priorities to change that as well and continuing to evolve in that regard.
On the agenda today, are the updated pricelists, changes to the dealer
discounts, and policy of the shipping costs.
As many of you know, with the launch of our E3.2 Cayenne program, we have
introduced new material groups, which directly affect the discounts which you
receive for any given part.
Now, with the 992.2 Carrera having arrived, these new material groups and
discounts will now also carry over to those offerings as well.
As with the Cayenne, these changes will only affect products that are
carried over and fit the new facelift 992.2 (MY 2025+).
All other products will remain at the existing discount level for now.

products have changed material groups and discounts.

To assist with your day-to-day sale of TECHART products, the pricelists for newer models now also include reference shipping
costs, dimensions and weights, cost of painting, and installation time. At this time not all pricelists include all of the above, but
this will continue to be expanded and updated in future versions of the lists.
We hope that this information will give you greater confidence when
interacting with potential clients.
Any feedback is very much welcome.
Shipping is always a big topic, as most of our products come from Germany.
The cost to import will always remain, in one way or the other. Our decision to
not include these costs into our retail product prices will remain for now.
This has, however, led to some inconsistencies over time relating to
advertised pricing, such as the offering of free shipping, resulting in
confusion for dealers and resellers, and end-customers alike, as well as a
general price erosion of our product prices in the US, specifically in the
online domain.
We have therefore implemented a policy change primarily affecting online
retailers, to combat the above and also securing your profitability.
